Our Voice for Peace is an experiential campus program that educates students about programs and institutions in Israel that strive to make peace between Israelis and Arabs. The students can then take polaroid pictures with fun props, and write messages of love and support that will be sent to Arava Institute, one of these Israeli-Arab institutions.

WHAT'S HAPPENING ON THE GROUND:

While the conflict continues to be a tragedy for both sides, Israelis from all walks of life are working with Palestinians to lay the foundation for peace.

Many organizations are on the ground fostering coexistence and cooperation in agriculture, medicine, environmental issues, education, science, sports,and other fields.

Together they are investing in peace.

Driven by their understanding that nature knows no borders, Israel’s Arava Institute brings Israeli, Palestinian, Jordanian, and international students together to learn about the environmental challenges of our time, and promote peace on a grassroots level. At Arava, these future leaders take part in peace-building and environmental sustainability projects that directly impact people on the ground.

The goal of the program is to connect with students who believe in peace, teach them about a side of Israel most people don’t see, and give them an opportunity to actively support an Israeli institution that shares their values.
